Washington Home Doctors, Inc. T/A Washington Enterprises, a fully licensed residential and commercial plumbing - heating & air conditioning - home improvement - remodeling and general construction company based in Prince George's County Maryland was founded in 1986 as Washington Enterprises. The business was incorporated under the name Washington Home Doctors, Inc. in 1996.

We began when our founder, Earl Washington Jr., started knocking on doors advertising handyman services that included basic plumbing and electrical repairs, fixture installations, and gutter cleaning and repair. With a strong background in these areas, the company has grown from a one man operation to a fully staffed company with licensed and uniformed technicians and a fleet of handsomely lettered service trucks.

Since 1986, we've formed several alliances with recognized professionals in the home improvement industry and key trade fields including architecture, sheet metal, roofing, masonry, carpentry, tile and construction. This solid foundation, coupled with our full-time staff of experienced employee, enables Washington Home Doctors to provide a full-service one-stop solution, firmly establishing ourselves as a preferred residential and commercial repair and construction company in the Washington D.C. and Maryland State.

Washington Enterprises was founded by Earl Washington Jr. in 1986. With fourteen years of electrical, mechanical and home repair experience, he started this business as a handyman service, using door-to-door advertising.

Earl was previously employed with the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) as one of the highest level electro – mechanical technicians repairing some of the world's most sophisticated rail system trains.

Earl spent the remaining six years of his tenure with WMATA supervising the main rail car systems' major electrical repair facility. During the last six years spent with Metro Rail Authority, Earl founded Washington Enterprises in 1986, which was ultimately incorporated as Washington Home Doctors in 1996. He acquired additional training and experience in plumbing, electrical, heating & air conditioning.

Washington Enterprises maintains home improvement contractors licenses for Washington D.C. and Maryland State, a Master Plumbing license for W.S.S.C. and Maryland State jurisdictions. To ensure that our customers receive the best service available, we partner with other professionals in the Home Improvement Industry.
